Here's some photos of the Magic Vests I made for my 3 nieces. Each vest is made from patchwork bluejeans, and then appliqued, embroidered, beaded and sequinned and silk ribbonned up as you see. Each vest also has a patch pocket on the inside right which has the girl's initial embroidered on it. All 3 together took almost exactly a year to complete, mostly because I had to work on them on and off. Otherwise it might have taken only 3 or 4 months of weekends. But ah well... looks like they'll still fit them (or at least a Teddy Bear!).
Are they spoilt? Definitely.
Do they deserve it? Probably. ;-)
Am I insane? Hmmm...
