This painting was a private commission for a client who wanted a Celtic border to add to their wedding ketubah. We settled on a combination of Celtic peacocks and lush knotwork to create an ornate frame that would add a significant amount of decoration around the text. The painting was done on double thick mat board, so can be mounted directly with the text when sent for framing. I love how this one turned out... I think it's ornate yet still creates enough of a pattern that it won't overwhelm the text when it's framed together with it.
