with Cari Buziak

I was traveling in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, in June 2014 and found Celtic Knotwork. I was fascinated with it and wanted to learn how to do those beautiful drawings. I searched online and met Cari Buziak through her Aon website.
I took Cari's Knotwork Interlace class and her Zoomorphics A class. I loved it. Cari's lessons were well done, clear and illustrated perfectly, and I liked her touches of humor. The homework that she sent gave me good opportunities to practice what I had learned in that week's lesson as well as insert my own creativity. Cari was so responsive to any questions and her critique of my work was very thorough and encouraging. It was obvious she took her time and cared about what I was doing! I learned the freehand knotting, tools of symmetry, trefoil and knotting within a ring in the first class. Here are some of my results:

In the second class, Zoomorphics A, I learned how to create Celtic animals, their meanings and how to breakdown any animal to create it in knotwork. I loved this class! Here are some of my favorites:
I very highly recommend Cari Buziak's Apprenticeship program if you have any interest in Celtic Knotwork! It was so informative and fun!
