The Ballykilcline Project - In the summer of 2000 I worked on the Ballykilcline Project with Professor Orser and his group, excavating a 19th century Irish cottage in Co. Roscommon. I attended the dig from July 17 to August 4th, 2000, and spent some time on either side of the dig touring Ireland and generally playing 'tourist'. I had a wonderful time, and must say that the people in Ireland were just as friendly and welcoming as you always here...I hope to return next year to travel some more!
