SeaHorse

I first sketched this seahorse in 2007 at a humane society convention in Calgary. We had some down time, and the coffee wasn't that great, so instead of taking a coffee break in the afternoon I doodled this sweet little girl up!

I really love the flowing lines in this, it's something I've experimented with and I want to incorporate more in my work. I think this flavor of Celtic is really organic and emotive, it reminds me a lot of the early La Tene style or what Art Nouveau period took from the La Tene period of Celtic art.
