Erin go Bragh

Erin go Bragh

This is one of my first Celtic pieces, early in my career. The lettering reads "Erin Go Bragh" (Ireland Forever, in Irish gaelic), using traditional knotting techniques and lions from the Book of Kells. The three apples included here are the Three Golden Apples of Celtic mythology, representing the Triple Sun God. Apples were highly regarded by many of the ancient cultures, such as the Greeks and Celts.
