Einstein's saying "great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds" has always been a meaningful quote for me. So many times in life people are too willing to tell you what you can't do or what won't work - but dare to dream! There's no need to tell yourself "no" - you'll have a million of those from others - be the one to tell yourself "yes" and take the leap!
