Blueknot

This little knot was derived partially from a pattern in the Book of Kells. Only half of it appears on the bottom of folio 32v, but I mirrored the design again to make a complete circle from it. I doubled up the knotwork strands so I could edge the entire design in gold after. This was one of my first paintings when I was just starting out in Celtic art!
