Rays of Ogma
This painting was commissioned as the cover for the book Ogham Divination, published by Summerlands Publishing. It features dazzling rays shining up from three bronze cauldrons of wisdom, with each ray showing a different style of Ogham inside. The cauldrons I made in a La Tene sort of style, with a more natural look to them rather than your typical knotwork on the sides -- I wanted them to look like something recovered from the days of the early Celts. At the peak of the rays is a burst of sunlight, the light of inspiration and creativity, as best defined in the tales of the Celtic sun God Lugh.
