Learn to Draw More Complex Celtic knots!

For me, the Basic Knot gets old pretty quickly. While there’s some satisfaction in creating a huge sheet of woven knots, like a giant basket-woven piece of art, at the end of the day you’re going to want to work on designs that have more unique elements than this. Whether it’s for a logo, a craft, or painted art. The additional detail and the variation in the pattern is where the real magic happens!

Fortunately, the dot paper technique is extremely flexible. By changing just a few variables we can not only make more exciting and intricate designs, but in a vast variety of proportions and combinations.

This lesson is a foundation class, like the Basic Knot lesson (which I've included for you, for FREE). Both of these techniques will be used in a number of other Lessons.

In each panel I will show you step-by-step how to create a Complex Celtic Knot. All you need is a pencil, eraser, and a sheet of the Aon dot paper! This technique will allow you to not only re-create the tutorial examples, but to allow create new unique designs to use in an infinite variety of projects!
